Image File List (IFL) animations are used to animate a dts material. These animations consist of a list of image files that are displayed one after another. IFL animations play back like a movie, with each image in the IFL animation representing one frame. IFL Animations always play back at 30 frames per second, but the number of frames for which each image in the sequence is displayed can be controlled. Beware of memory usage with large textures and/or many textures.

Creating IFL Animations:
- UV map the first image in the IFL sequence to the desired faces.
- Once you've UV mapped the first image to some mesh faces, go to the "Materials" panel of the exporter user interface and select that texture in the UV/Image (dts material) list. You may need to refresh the panel if the image doesn't show up. Turn on the "IFL Material" button for the material.
- Switch back to the Sequences/IFL animation panel and select the new IFL Material from the pulldown at the top-left of the IFL sequence properties (just under the selected sequence label).
- Set the number of images in the sequence using the "Images" number picker. You should then see the images show up in the "Images" list below.
- The "Hold image for (Frames)" slider to the right of the "Images" list is used to control how long each image in the sequence is displayed (IFL animations are locked at 30 fps, so 1 frame = 1/30 of a second). The frame slider operates on the selected image in the "IFL Image Frames" list.
